Mishpacha – Our Family

This picture was taken in November 2019, a time I think of as the end of the innocence for many of them. Life comes at you fast sometimes. It changes even faster. We’ve held on so far and I pray we continue to, together. Amein.

Welcome to our little corner of the world. We are Asher Kalev and Chava Tzipporah Usher. We have a wonderful group of young people who call us Dad and Mom! In our home we have raised Jonathan (1999) the UPS driver, Bethany (2000) who danced professionally and now lives in another state as a dance instructor, Basia (2002) graduating 2021 with plans to pursue dance afterwards. Brooklyn (2004) is also a dancer with plans to dance professionally in her sisters’ footsteps. Joshua (2006) is currently a drummer with plans of maybe becoming a meteorologist someday. Joseph (2009) dances as well, but likes to play soccer and football when he can. Ember (2016) is happily learning Hebrew and morning prayers right now, just itching to begin her first ballet class. Terrance (2000) lives across town and we see him as often as we can. We also adopted an adult daughter, Selah, and her husband, Samuel, along with their six precious children. Our hearts are truly full and we are immensely blessed in our call to raise the next generation to love HaShem and walk in His ways.
